My personal chart for over 20 years

Scout's Top 40 has been a selection of international contemporary hit music for over 20 years. I started to write down and compile my favorite music back in the 90's while listening to international and local music stations, first on shortwave and on FM, later on satellite and now on the net, although I'm still using the old technology. 

Scout's Top 40 has been on the net since 2000. In 2013 some problems came up with my former website so the publication of my chart on the internet stopped for a few years. Meanwhile I was still writing the charts and was watching the international music scene, which changed so much in the last few years.

In 2018 I found webnode, my current website provider so I thought why not keep on publishing on the net? Maybe some people will still like the music I listen to here in Central Europe. 

Due to my geographical location I can keep track of European and North-American hit music so that's why there is so much variety on the chart. In fact there is so much good music nowadays that sometimes it takes some time for new music to reach the chart.
